A great place to stay. Staff where excellent, very friendly and went the extra mile to help. The building is a typical Australian hotel, complete with creaky floorboards but full of character. The food was good too. Would definitely stay again if passing through Port Augusta.

Delicious meals and a nice, fresh, light atmosphere in the front bar, back dining part is a little dingey and not as nice as the front though.
The Hotel Flinders, overall, was a decent experience. Food is well made and staff were friendly. Parking for our overnight issue was in the alley behind the hotels which was not ideal because the neighbourhood is about dodgy, but it worked and is watched by 24/7 security cameras. Rooms are decent, with a fast working heater, if quite loud. The beds were quite comfortable and well made, but the bathroom was very small, with a low hanging shower head and a sink outside the bathroom due to lack of space. The showers are hot, fast. Decent overall, would recommend for an overnight stay, if not ideal for extended periods of time.
Great place for a meeting, with clean and welcoming atmosphere.The snitzels are very generous, with a choice of chicken, beef or squid, with great toppings and sauces available. Good prices and excellent value for money, served by very friendly staff.Highly recommend the chicken snitty with Aussie topping, served with an ice cold Cooper's Pale ale. Yum!
