I had to deal with the company by phone from Perth. They were always very honest in their repair analysis and prompt in their service. After I picked up the car, I drove back to Perth with absolutely no problems thanks to the repairs.
If you are after a mechanic shop who knows what theyre doing then these are the guys to see. The only negatives Ive heard about them comes from people who expect mechanics to pull special order parts out their backside and have their cars fixed that day regardless how long it takes to realistically get parts from Adelaide. Ive seen these guys working on customers cars during summer when its 48 degrees, so just shows their dedication to getting customers back on the road.
I needed help to adjust a tow hitch and ball after hours as I needed it fixed urgently so I could fetch a boat. Jamie from Neill Automotive was more than willing to help and did the job for me at no cost. Thank you Jamie. The RAA has also sent me help via Neill Automotive on a Sunday morning to get my keys out of my locked car, they arrived faster than the RAA predicted. Have had a few dealings all out of necessity unfortunately. Would not recommend, as others have stated - interested in your money only, not open on weekends either which is not ideal if they've towed your car and you live out of town and have job (you'll probably also need a second job to pay the charges as well)
1 year ago we broke down 2 days North of Port Augusta. Neils Automotive was rung after a recommendation. We were told what time they would pick us up and how long the job would take for the engine rebuild. They towed the car and caravan with their truck, which was well equipped for the recovery. 20,000km later and the new engine is going well. They were very obliging and would highly recommend.
